We have been telling ourselves for a couple of years now that we need to keep one of our own bucks from the "Kat" line. We love the strong general appearance that comes through this dam line and want to put "the look" on our other lines.
Katerina was our first doe to win a GCH (dry leg). As a yearling, she had a single doe, Katlyn, who has grown to be the prettiest doe we have bred to date. Katlyn appraised 88 VVVV at just over a year old and earned her milk star and Superior Genetics designation. She freshened with a single buck that is without question even nicer than she is, and is milking more than her dam as a first freshener.
Why all the talk about Katlyn? Well, because she is Titan's full sister. Unfortunately, we lost Katerina in a difficult kidding. Titan was the only thing we were able to salvage from that shipwreck.
We are looking for him to put on the growthiness and general appearance we expect from this line.
