Senior Does
Jillian is just an immature doe. With a whopping 27 stature as a yearling, she's going to need time to fill that frame.

We love our goats here at Hammock Haven Farm. Our primary focus is Lamanchas, though we have a token Alpine. Our herd is CAE negative (tested yearly) and we have never had a case of CL.
We participate in Linear Appraisals and DHI milk testing. It is important to us to have this kind of data when making breeding decisions. We believe that a milk goat should milk and breed for production as well as conformation. We don't want any highly appraising goats who top out at 6lbs and dry themselves off before September!
We have met and exceeded the goals we set the last four years. This year we are recommitting ourselves to our goal of a truly capacious animal, both in mammary/production and body. We will continue to give productivity a slight advantage over conformation while still selecting does that are structurally sound and graceful, especially on the move.
Petra is a powerhouse of a milker. Her udder has dreamy texture and beautiful teat placement. Her twin sister earned her SG last year. We hope now that Petra is appraised she has a chance at it too. She's going to need another year to fill out.

Eloise is one of the biggest producers in the herd. Her udder height and snugness to body are hard to beat. Still a smaller doe, she's matured considerably this year. Excellent in Legs, Back, and Udder Texture.
